Public Water Supply 1998-2018 Report Released

The Regional Body and Compact Council are pleased to release "Changes in Withdrawals for Public Water Supply in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin, 1998-2018." 

The report, drafted by Jim Nicholas of Nicholas-H2O, serves as a follow up to his report entitled Report on the Potential Changes in Water Use Resulting from Retirement of Thermoelectric Power Plants in the Great Lakes Basin (2017)  This new report focuses on another important water use sector in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin, and summarizes changes in withdrawals for public water supply in the Great Lakes Basin-St. Lawrence River Basin.
